Chicken? and Beyond...

We finally made it to Chicken, Alaska.  Kathy and Chick worked the gold camp here many years ago and we enjoyed being with them as they revisited places they frequented back in the day.  ​For more info on the town of Chicken see the link below.

Quite the bar scene...

3 buckets of  "pay dirt" yielded at least 100 specks of gold vs the 3 days of work in the field to get 1 speck.  ARGGG...but at least this was easy work :)
