This is Gull Lake Honey Company. We stayed here for 1 night. It was very windy, cold and rainy. They have quite a bouquet of beautiful pheasants. Wendy found this herd of pigs...she is happy! She fed this one a daffodil stem and now has a lifelong friend :) This is interesting...this wonderful person, Pauline, was in Charleston, SC, offering her services as nurse after Hurricane Hugo went through in 1989. We may have even crossed paths as we were there tending to our home and community after that storm. They were very gracious to share their stories with us during our brief encounter. Bee boxes, on the left, are only half used in the fields around the countryside. Cold and rainy weather have been hard on the bees and blooms this year. These are boxes shipped here containing queen bees from Asia, Russia, Hawaii and many other places.
