Serpent Mound in Ohio.

Dwaine escorted us to an RV sales establishment where we emptied our holding tanks and said our goodbyes.  While there we met a salesman, who stopped to inquire about our trailer, and he told us of a place we should visit, on the way to Columbus, called Serpent Mound.  So we welcomed the chance to get off the major roads and set sail for Serpent Mound!

On the way, we stopped at an Amish store for a few goodies. 

If you look closely at the donuts on the left, you'll see 2 on the top shelf.  The one on the right is at least 9 inches across!!!  It no longer resides there :)  Yummmmmm...

This observation tower was closed as it was built in the early 1900's and is badly rusted.  The mound probably looks a lot different from the top of it.
