I hope to be all caught up with this post ... BECAUSE ... we left today (18 May) for our most excellent trip to ALASKA!!!! Here is Navajo Nation Museum, a Harvest Host in Window Rock, AZ. Pretty area but didn't get a chance to explore. 7 April...1 night. 1 night at Datil Well, BLM land in New Mexico. We really like this spot. We took a trip to get some pie at the local restaurant and we saw this coincidence...Wendy, from close to Columbus and me from SC :) Mama Bear RV Park for 1 night in Capitan, NM. I thought this cute...mama bear helping out while baby bear blocking the smell :) We overnighted at this harvest Host...Reddy Vineyards in Brownfield, TX. (10Apr) Another Harvest Host for 1 night in Early TX. Sky over Texas Winery. We're back for another music rally in Grapeland, TX. (12-19 April) We must have spent the better part of an hour trying to find this library in a town of 5 or 6 streets. Wen takes a picture of the table of honor that displays the first 4 Kings and Queens of the previous rallies. Little did she know that she would be the 5th queen :) Sir Charles and Bonnie take a moment's break to give 2 beautiful smiles :) :) Our house band provides some great music for "beach night". Volunteers work very hard each year and their efforts are so much appreciated :) Williamson County Expo Center for 1 night in Taylor, TX. It rained cats and dogs that night. Here we are at the Bluebonnet fiberglass RV rally in Kerrville 21-25 Apr. I get to wash the truck and trailer again :) Toucan Jims is a quaint restaurant/bar to visit. We were here 4 years ago and are glad to see them still going strong! We're finally back to Chick and Kathy's home, in Ingram, TX...26 Apr to 9 May. We have many projects and much work to prepare for our upcoming, most excellent, 4 month adventure!!! A bluebonnet pops up in their yard :) We needed to drain our trailer's tanks so we went back to Old River Road Resort in Kerrville again, for 2 nights. And of course 2 more vehicle washings. Back to Chick and Kathy's for final preparations. (12-17 May)
It's easy to see WE'RE READY !!!!!!!! Tomorrow we leave for ALASKA !!!!!!!!
